Of all our excursions in the desert; This tour from Marrakech to Zagora "mini-circuit" is the perfect plan for those who have no more than two days to discover the Moroccan Sahara, so book / join one of our shared circuits, or book and enjoy on private the beauty of the Moroccan desert.

This excursion into the desert from Marrakech through the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate, the pearl of the south with its beautiful film studios; Kasbah Taourirt, the former Palace of Pasha Galoui, the river and the Draa Valley with its many kasbahs, the palm oasis that produces dates, famous village of Agdz and Zagora. The massive earthen structures that we see a long the route are divided into houses that serve as homes for families in these villages kasbah where life continued unchanged for centuries.
Zagora is also known as "the door of the desert" and is the last town before the palm oasis where the road dissolves into nothing but sand and rocks that we dig through the sand dunes.

The detailed program of the tour two days in the desert from Marrakech

Day 1

We leave at 7:00 to Ouarzazate, 200 km through the Atlas Mountains (beautiful scenery and authentic Berber villages Taourirt, lunch (not included) will be served near the Kasbah.
After lunch, we drive through Ouarzazate (the capital of cinema in Africa), after that, we drive to Agdz and Zagora. We have a tour of the Draa Valley and its palm grove. We

Mount our camels for an hour and a half in the middle of dunes westopped). Great first stepis to visit Ouarzazate and the famous Kasbah to take pictures.
We arrive at the camp half an hour before sunset, take a mint tea with the nomads in the camp. Then we go over the dunes to see the sunset.

Return to camp for dinner, after which the nomad swill play music for us around a camp fire. 

Day 2

The second day we will wake up before sunrise to see the first light of the day (magic lights before sunrise). After that we will have breakfast. Later, upon the camels we will join our vehicles; to start our journey back to Marrakech. We stop to visit Ait Ben Haddou, 16th century Kasbah. After the tour, lunch (not included); then we continue the trip. We arrive in Marrakech around 18:30.
